Blue Knights HQ — DCTC Blue Knights Baseball

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the information Blue Knights HQ (the "Service") stores, how it is used, and who may access it. Defined terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. Information the Service stores

1.1 Account information: name, email address, team, role and permission settings.

1.2 Wellness information: daily readiness and wellness check-in responses, injury and availability records, and class, work and other schedule conflicts a user submits.

1.3 Personal Notes: notes and journal entries a user writes, and the items each note is linked to (for example, a game, pitch or practice).

1.4 Performance and video information: pitch-tracking and measured performance data, game and practice video links, video annotations, scorekeeping records, and throwing and training programs.

1.5 Program operations: calendars, responsibilities, notifications sent, and push-notification subscriptions a user turns on.

1.6 Recruiting profiles: information a Coach chooses to publish about a Player on the Program's recruiting pages.

1.7 Anonymous usage counts: which pages are used, by role (coach, player or public visitor) and time. No name, account, email address or IP address is recorded with these counts, so they cannot be traced to a person. They are used only to improve the Service.

2. YouTube

The Service connects to the Program's own YouTube channel to read basic video information (titles, video identifiers and thumbnails) so that staff can match game footage with pitch-tracking data. It only reads this information. It never posts, uploads, deletes or modifies anything on the channel, and it accesses no personal Google account data beyond that channel's video list.

3. Who can see what

3.1 Personal Notes are visible only to their owner and to the persons with whom the owner has shared them. Administrators do not have access to another person's private notes through the Service.

3.2 Wellness information is visible to the Player who provided it and to Coaches who hold permission to view wellness information.

3.3 Program-Owned Data is visible to Coaches according to their permissions, and to a Player to the extent the Service shows the Player the Player's own data.

3.4 Recruiting profiles that a Coach has published can be viewed by anyone with the link. They are marked so that search engines do not list them.

4. Use and disclosure

Information in the Service is used only to operate the Program's coaching, player development, wellness, scheduling, video review and recruiting activities. It is not sold and is not shared with third parties, except: (a) service providers that host the Service and store its data on the Program's behalf; (b) as described in Section 4.4 of the Terms (duty to report); and (c) as required by law.

5. Your choices

5.1 Players may download, delete or request deletion of Player-Owned Data as described in Section 5 of the Terms.

5.2 Unsharing a note ends further access from that point forward; it does not undo access that has already occurred.

5.3 After departure, a Player may request a copy or deletion of Player-Owned Data by writing to the Program.

6. Education records

Some information in the Service may be part of a student's education records under FERPA. Section 6 of the Terms explains what this means for notes written by Coaches.

7. Changes and contact

Material changes to this Policy will be announced in the Service before they take effect. Questions: ftepod@gmail.com.
